Requirements
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in the following fields: Agriculture; or Agriculture Extension; or Agricultural Economics; or Agribusiness; or Agricultural and Rural Innovations; or Botany; or Zoology; or Fisheries; or Animal Production and Veterinary Medicine plus a Post graduate qualification in any of the above fields from a recognized University/Institution.
Requirements
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in the following fields: Agriculture; or Agriculture Extension; or Agricultural Economics; or Agribusiness; or Agricultural and Rural Innovations; or Botany; or Zoology; or Fisheries; or Animal Production and Veterinary Medicine plus a Post graduate qualification in any of the above fields from a recognized University/Institution.
- Planning and implementing policies, regulations and certification of Standard Operating Procedures and SIS;
- Monitoring and evaluating usage of fish health certificates for exports;
- Preparing and disseminating fish export certification schedules;
- Taking record of daily fish inspection, approval of vessels and certificates;
- Providing technical support to facilitate prompt procurement of certificates;
- Preparing quarterly inspection schedules for licensed fish processing plants, approved landing sites and fish maws processors;
- Preparing work plans and budgets and submitting to the supervisor for further action;
- Preparing activity and field reports and submitting them to the supervisor;
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
